Innovations'08 - Special Session
Realtime visual analysis and visual communication of in-vivo and in-silico biology
5th International Conference on Innovations in Information TechnologyDecember 16-18, 2008, Al Ain, United Arab Emirates
Call for papers
In this session we aim to describe what we consider as currently the most innovative trend in bioinformatics. We focus on 3D visualizations for analysis and scientific communication in biotechnology and the pharmaceutical domain. We aim to show how real-time visual data analysis helps scientists and medical professionals to better cope with and understand their massive data sets. We also show how these 3D visual representations can be used in terms of achieving better visual communication aids for more clear, transparent and easily comprehensible presentations targeting investors, medical doctors, scientists and students.
Attending speakers are required to register and present their papers at the Innovations'08 conference in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates in the Visualbiotech special session on visualization.
Keywords: computer graphics, visual communication, visual analysis, in-vivo and in-silico biology, systems biologySubmission instructions and paper format
We seek original full length papers of 5-6 pages on the proposed subject in accordance with the format described in the following document.
